We are seeking a results-oriented Senior SaaS Sales Representative to drive sales across the Australian market. You will manage the full sales cycle for CableHero and Droxq, delivering product demos, converting trials to paid subscriptions, maintaining client relationships, and identifying cross-sell opportunities. This role is ideal for an experienced SaaS sales professional looking to make a direct impact on business growth while working with innovative renewable energy software solutions.


Your Client:

Work with an Australian renewable energy SaaS provider serving the engineering sector. The company develops two platforms: CableHero, a cloud-based cable sizing and compliance tool aligned with Australian standards; and Droxq, a project management platform for solar, BESS, and grid connection projects. As the company continues to scale, they are expanding their sales team to strengthen their presence across the Australian market.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

Essential Qualifications 

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SaaS sales or business development.

  • Demonstrated experience selling to the Australian market.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience conducting live product demonstrations and virtual presentations.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models and subscription-based sales.

  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills.

  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close.

  • Experience in CRM pipeline management and reporting.

  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify cross-sell opportunities.

  • Strategic thinking in executing promotional campaigns and conversion strategies.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
     

Desirable

  • Background in electrical engineering, solar, or renewable energy industry.

  • Experience selling technical or engineering software.

  • Experience with product-led growth and free-trial to paid conversion strategies.

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions to Australian government, councils, or utilities.

  • Understanding of the Australian energy sector market landscape.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

  • Managing the full sales cycle for CableHero and Droxq from prospecting to close.

  • Conducting tailored live product demonstrations based on client requirements.

  • Advising prospects on suitable subscription plans and bundled offers.

  • Executing promotional campaigns and trial-to-paid conversion initiatives.

  • Identifying and driving cross-sell opportunities across both platforms.

  • Maintaining existing client accounts, driving renewals, and reducing churn.

  • Tracking and managing pipeline activity in CRM with weekly sales reporting.

  • Monitoring competitor activity and contributing market insights.
