Our friendly team at an Australian-owned HVAC & R company in Pardo, Cebu is searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join us. If you have experience in project coordination, contract administration, or assistant project management within the HVAC or construction industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by assisting with commercial, contractual, and project management activities while working closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and site teams.

This role will be based in Quiot Pardo, Cebu on a 100% office setup.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

  • Experience in a Contract Administration, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management role within the HVAC industry.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.

  • Experience with progress claims, variations, and project cost tracking.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Experience with project management or construction software (e.g. SimPRO, Procore, Jobpac, Aconex, or similar) is advantageous.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant qualification in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

  • Assist with the administration and management of projects.

  • Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and other contractual correspondence.

  • Track project costs, budgets, and financial performance.

  • Assist with procurement, subcontractor engagement, and purchase orders.

  • Review subcontractor claims and invoices.

  • Maintain project documentation, registers, and reporting.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.

  • Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and delivery.

  • Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes where required.

  • Support the management of project risks, compliance, and quality requirements.

  • Assist with project close-out, defects management, and final accounts.
